Hi Rick - thank you so much - Facebook is the first place I tried, and I did a search and couldn't find a page with conversation. I was able to "like" a page, but I couldn't access any conversation. maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I also sent Bob an e-mail.

Hi Sarah! I find that the best way to keep up on all things WJIB is their Facebook group. It is quite active. If you go to facebook.com and search for WJIB you will find it. Good luck! - Rick

Is there somewhere I can read the recent dialogue Bob's been having with WJIB listeners? I always seem to catch the tail end of it, but what I did hear was something about reduced hours of the station? I love the music so much that I keep it going 24/7 in my kitchen and in my basement (for the cats too). Thank you!

Bob, your on the right track. Keep up the good work. I wish I could get your station on the internet but I'm sure it would take away from your programing not to mention the cost that would be involved.

Of course you were listning to JC's Golden Oldies on WLLH Lowell or before that WFEA in Manchester or before that an Albany, NY station. Jc played for many years at the Copper Kettle on weekends in Lowell now he is back on WFEA in Manchester on Saturday evenings.

Dear Bob, Love your station! both my husband & I are in our 50s & it brings back memories. There SHOULD be more radio stations like this, I remember my late mom listening to you. In the words of Bob Hope, "thanks for the memories".

Recently found JIB while on indoor construction site in Boston. The boss, Paul, has it on all day and boy does it ever bring me back to the days when my mother would have her am station on playing all that beautiful music. As I recall, her station had a DJ by the name of JC. I just remember the jingle the station played...something like, "we love you JC we truly do..." Anyhow, whether that was JIB back then or not, the music brings back the memories for sure. I think a neighbor of ours back then, Paul Gerry, was a DJ for JIB as well and I recall the sound of the seashore and a buoy bell in between songs. I'm hooked! Thanks Bob and I'll talk to the wife about getting some funds over there to help support your gem of a station.

Bob Bittner is a wonderful man to devote his life to giving the public good music. While not every single song from the 40s-60s is good, there are very, very many that are great. Good music, good performances, good arrangements and loads and loads of good feelings. Bob: Donation from me coming!
