Kobe Bryant's apology not "full" enough for gay group

Kobe Bryant really stepped in it last night.  The ref called a technical foul on him and The Black Mamba lost his head and uttered the word "faggot" on live television.

Yikes.Kobe

While I'm no fan of Kobe Bean Bryant or what he said, he did have the decency to quickly release an apology, saying "My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone."

Well I'm glad that is resolved now.  Kobe said something stupid, got fined 100 large by the NBA, and apologized for acting like a six-foot-six-inch dope.  Case closed, right?

'Fraid not.  The BBC reports "The Human Rights Campaign, a gay civil rights group, said Bryant's 'horribly offensive and distasteful' language 'perpetuates a culture of discrimination' and called for a fuller apology."

Excuse me?  The HRC is calling for "a fuller apology"?  A Jesse Jackson style apology perhaps?

Who is the HRC to be "calling for" anything?  These are, no doubt, the very same moonbats who think it's cute to call Tea Party members "teabaggers".

Look, we all occasionally hear speech that we don't like.  The guy said a stupid thing and then apologized.  Get over it.  Don't spend your life being a victim.
