A plea to Mayor Menino from the directionally challenged

I went to the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) for a course tonight.  I set my GPS to "122 Arlington St., Boston MA", the address of the BCAE, and was on my way.  A few lefts, rights and "recalculating"s later, I arrived at 122 Arlington Street in Boston.

Just one problem: It was the wrong 122 Arlington Street in Boston.find_your_way

Catch that?  There are actually two 122 Arlington Streets in Boston: The BCAE, and some random lady's house.  I, of course, ended up at the random lady's house.  My Portuguese ancestors were, no doubt, spinning in their graves trying to understand how I used a GPS and still managed to navigate to the wrong place.

This is where you come in, Mr. Mayor.  Help a brutha out and meet me half way.  My job is to 'fess up to my lack of directional prowess and drop the hundred bucks for a TomTom; Your job is to make sure there aren't two different buildings - seven miles apart - with the same freakin' address.

There are some things that I don't mind duplicates of: baseball cards, socks, heck - I'm even okay with the Olsen twins.  Addresses, on the other hand, don't fall into that category.  No, Mr. Mayor, the concept of street addresses was pretty much created to prevent just this type of hijinks.
