“Euphoria,” “Spider-Man,” and “Dune” actress Zendaya was recently photographed in the Back Bay on Newbury Street earlier this week by an artist at Rainbows Pottery Studio (shared on Instagram) as the star is reportedly set to film a new movie.
The new film, called ‘The Drama’, will be filmed this fall and will see Zendaya star alongside Robert Pattison and will be directed by Kristoffer Borgli (“Dream Scenario”) and produced by Ari Aster (“Midsommar,” “Hereditary”) for A24.
“So blessed to have said my artwork has been admired by the Zendaya,” the artist wrote on her post. “As she was looking at the table with 30 different artists and multiple varying pieces she picked up the mug I had painted.”
According to Production Weekly, the filming will run from October 21st through December 18th and will also film in New York City and Los Angeles.
This marks a return to Boston for Zendaya who was last filming in the city along with Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist for Luca Guadagnino’s tennis drama “Challengers”.
